Commercial Kitchen Incubator
Access to commercial kitchens is few and far between, even more so in Hawai'i. Wit this new venture we can acquire and open a commercial kitchen to the community and creating an incubator program.
Incubator program - A one-stop shop for food innovation. From concept, recipe making and marketing we want to elevate and celebrate local farm to table beyond the occasional farmers market.
Celebrate Farms & Artisans Locally
Ka'u is surrounded by small to medium farms with a few commercial farms in the area. Even so the access to fresh food is only available at weekly farmers markets which is not enough to feed the community.
The are itself is a food wasteland with little to no options of ready made fresh organic food prepped and ready to go.
Most people travel 2 hours for groceries or go to the small local gas station that has food from Costco priced 5x. There is limited fresh food even at the two local groceries in the next town.
